Collection: Remember the Ladies

On March 31, 1776, Abigail Adams wrote her husband, John Adams, a Massachusetts delegate to the Continental Congress meeting in Philadelphia:

"I long to hear that you have declared an independency -- and by the way in the new Code of Laws which I suppose it will be necessary for you to make I desire you would Remember the Ladies, and be more generous and favourable to them than your ancestors."

Here you have a series of shirts inspired by Abigail Adams and the other brave, dedicated ladies, known and unknown, who were a big part of the American victory.
